Business Accounts
Currently, only registered Saint Lucian businesses and companies are allowed to sell on SHOPFRONT.
In order to have your Shopfront Store approved and launched you will need to supply your KYC documentation.
Outlined below are the things you will need to know.
As part of the signup process, all sellers are required to provide personal and business verification documentation as indicated below. This helps to protect all parties who are involved in the processing of transactions (
such as buyers, sellers, platform owners, payment processors, credit card companies and banks) from liability arising from any possible activity deemed fraudulent or illegal by relevant authorities.
Once the required documents, based on your type of business, are submitted to us,
SHOPFRONT staff will evaluate them. If they meet the mandated KYC requirements, your business will be marked as VERIFIED and you will then be able to begin selling on
SHOPFRONT.
This process will take one (
1) business day to complete once all valid documents are submitted. In the meantime, you will be allowed to continue to set up your shop and upload your product information while this process is ongoing.
However, UNVERIFIED shops will not be allowed to transact business on
SHOPFRONT.
