How to create a Shopfront

If you on this page you are either curious or you want to start making money online from your existing shop, or perhaps have plans for a store of your own. It is important to note that there are a few hoops you will need to jump through in order to full setup your shop. These are financially mandated and outside of our control.

Before you can start selling and buy through Shopfront, you must first create your Shopfront account. This account will be used to run your shop and to buy from other sellers on Shopfront. After creating your account, add your profile picture and bio to let other people in the Shopfront community know who you are.

To open register your Shopfront:
  1. Click the “Join/Login” dropdown on the top right side shopfront.store navigation.
  2. Click the “Open a Shopfront” button in the dropdown to proceed to the shop registration page.
  3. A three-part form will appear and you are required to fill out all the mandatory information to proceed.
  4. Select your desired shopfront plan. Please note that the “Free” plan is selected by default but you can select any plan that suits your requirements.(Note: For more information on each plan’s features and pricing visit the shopfront pricing page.)
  5. Once you have chosen your plan, fill each field with your corresponding business details. The field with colored icons are mandatory and must be filled out before proceeding.(Note: Some fields will be pre-populated with default information that cannot be changed at this time.)
  6. When done, click “next”.
  7. The second part of the form will appear, requiring you to enter your VAT information. If this does not apply to you, click “next” to skip. If it does apply to you, please fill out the form with the correct information, then click “next” to proceed.
  8. The third part of the form requires you to enter information about the shop’s owner. Like the first part of the form, any field with a colored icon is mandatory and must be filled.
  9. Please enter a valid email address and follow the instruction below when creating your secure password.
  10. Once done, click “register” to submit your form and complete your registration.(Note: If you believe that you may have made mistakes on earlier parts of the form, click “previous” to get back to completed parts of the form.)
  11. A confirmation and verification email should appear in the inbox of the email you used to sign-up for the account.(Note: The confirmation and verification email may end up in your email’s junk or spam folder. So be sure to check there if you do not see it.)
  12. Open up the email and follow the instructions to verify your account.
  13. Proceed to login to your new Shopfront store admin area.

Finish Your Setup

When you have completed your registration, there are a few steps you need to take in order to complete your shop setup. The following information must be added: ‍ Shopfront doesn’t require its sellers to have a business license to sell their products. However, when selling on Shopfront you are required to follow all laws from your country that apply to you as a small business selling online.

  1. Shop logo: Upload clear photos that represent the style of your brand and make a strong first impression on shoppers.
  2. Shop Bio: Share the story behind your products, how your business came to be, and what your vision is for your brand.
  3. Shop policies: Outline all your policies for shipping, returns, exchanges, payments, custom items, or any other guidelines that are important for shoppers to know before they make a purchase.
 

How to Sign Out of Shopfront

To sign in to your shopfront account: Shopfront doesn’t require its sellers to have a business license to sell their products. However, when selling on Shopfront you are required to follow all laws from your country that apply to you as a small business selling online.

  1. On shopfront.store, click the “Join/Login” dropdown on the top right of the site navigation.
  2. Click the “Login” button.
  3. Enter the email address and password you use for your Shopfront account.
  4. You can also sign up to be a shopper on shopfront from this page.

  1. On shopfront.store, click the “HI Your Name” to access you dashboard dropdown.
  2. Navigate to the bottom of the dropdown and click “Sign out”.
